
East Porter County School Corporation, in conjunction with the Porter County Sheriff’s Office, would like to inform the public of safety training that will be taking place at Morgan Township Schools (299 S State Rd 49) on May 6, 2025. This is during the scheduled eLearning Day. The safety training will be conducted from approximately 7:30 am until 12:00 p.m. There may be an increase in police vehicles in the area and police-related activities occurring within the school. Please do not be alarmed, as the school corporation and Sheriff's Department are aware of the training taking place.


Congratulations to our Middle School Academic Super Bowl Team on a fantastic showing at the area meet this past Saturday at LaPorte Middle School. The English, Social Studies and Interdisciplinary teams all finished with 2nd place ribbons, while the math team came away with a 1st place finish! Congratulations to all!






Sunday May 4, the top 10 seniors from the Class of 2025 were honored for their achievements during their time here at Kouts. Congratulations not only to our KHS seniors but also the seniors from Morgan and Washington!




Congratulations to Daisy Nicolas and Tru Henrichs were part of nine East Porter students and two advisors that attended/competed at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando, FL the past five days. Tru scored over 85% and earned a competency medal in her event. We’re incredibly proud of these students and their efforts to get them to ICDC.

Today, our Juniors and Seniors got a chance to learn the risks of drinking and driving first hand with the Golf Carts and Goggles simulations. Special thanks to the Porter County Sheriff's Department for coming out and talking to the kids (and having a lot of fun along the way!).
