Miss Swanson's 1st Grade Class doing Boomwhacker centers. Students played a song and guessed what it was, played their own composition they wrote with a partner, reviewed the note names, and watched professional musicians playing Boomwhackers! Boomwhackers help us recognize pitch, understand rhythm, and are also just really fun. :-)
Save the Date! The 50th Annual Arts-a-Budding County-wide art show begins March 4th & runs through March 13th. Congratulations goes out to this year's chosen student artists representing Kouts Elementary.
